How To Make  Melomakarona Greek Christmas Honey Cookies

First, make the syrup. Then stir in the honey. Put the syrup in the refrigerator.

After that, make the dough and roll into balls.

Shape into ovals & place on a baking sheet. Use a fork to make holes on top.

Bake the cookies & when they're done, immediately dip them in the cold syrup, 2-3 at a time.

Flip them over right away & let them soak for 1.5 minutes.

Then use a slotted spoon to scoop them out of the syrup.

After that, place the cookies on a platter and top with the chopped walnuts.
