Equipment
mason jar or airtight container
Ingredients
½
cup
old fashioned oats (50g)
½
cup
milk of choice (125ml)
½
teaspoon
vanilla
1-2
teaspoons
honey or maple syrup
or to taste
2
Oreo cookies
crushed (plus 1 for garnish, optional)
pinch
of salt
Instructions
In a sealed jar or container, mix the oats, milk, honey, crushed Oreo cookies, vanilla, and salt until well combined.
Cover with a lid (or tightly wrap with plastic) and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Before serving, stir the oats again. If the consistency is too thick, add a little more milk as needed.
Notes
Best Oats:
Use old-fashioned oats for the ideal texture. Quick oats can get mushy, while steel-cut oats may stay too firm.
Sweetness:
Taste and adjust the sweetener before refrigerating to match your preference.
Chill Time:
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow the oats to fully soften.

Baking Measurements
I have used weight measurements for all the recipes on this website. Even though I have also included American volume measurements for convenience, I highly recommend using a digital kitchen scale to weigh all ingredients for the most accurate measurements. Digital kitchen scales are more precise than cups, which is so important in baking, and they give the most accurate, consistent results. Happy baking!
